Particle terms & community rules

Use Particle to organize your work and collaborate respectfully. These terms apply to the current Particle web app.

Your account and work

Keep your account secure. Use a name and profile that do not impersonate someone else. You keep ownership of your work and grant Particle permission to store and display what you upload to the audiences you select. Only upload material you have permission to share.

Community rules

Do not post illegal content, sexual exploitation, threats, harassment, hateful abuse, scams, or spam. Do not use the app to expose someone’s private information, manipulate likes or vouches, or evade a block or suspension. Report concerning posts, profiles, listings, or messages using the report controls.

Particle can remove content or restrict accounts for these violations. Report evidence may be reviewed by the moderation team. Contact support to ask about a moderation decision.

Collaborations

Creators decide whom to accept into a project. Signal scores and vouches describe app activity and collaboration feedback; they are not identity checks, professional certifications, or guarantees. Agree on the work, ownership, compensation, and deadlines with your collaborators before starting. Particle does not process payments between collaborators.

Particle Plus

When available, Particle Plus costs US$14.99 billed monthly or US$149.99 billed annually (equivalent to US$12.50 per month), renewing at the selected interval until canceled. It includes exclusive themes, new Plus themes as they arrive, uploads up to 250 MB per file and 10 GB of account storage. Free includes 25 MB per file and 500 MB of storage. Review the final charge shown at checkout before subscribing.

Manage your subscription, payment method, receipts, and cancellation through Account → Manage subscription. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the paid period keeps Plus access through that period. After Plus expires, existing files remain accessible, new uploads must fit Free limits, and the app returns to the Original theme. Contact support for billing or refund questions. Any mandatory consumer rights still apply.

Availability and changes

Keep independent copies of important work. Service interruptions can happen. Features and limits may change; material subscription changes should be communicated before they affect a renewal. The installable web app is distinct from any future App Store or Google Play release.

Support and deletion

Account settings includes support, a data download, and account deletion. Transfer or delete owned projects before deleting your account. Deleting a Particle account removes its connected email identity and sessions. It does not delete your separate ChatGPT account or email inbox.
